FAQ
What types of videos can you PrOduce?
When it comes to video production, there is no 'one size fits all' approach and that is why I will work closely with you to produce exactly what you need. Having worked as a videographer in the higher education sector, I have extensive experience in producing a wide range of video styles and formats:
- Corporate
- Social media
- Documentary
- Explainer
- E-learning
- Live events and conferences
- Live streamed events
- Animation
- 360-degree and immersive
How long will it take you to produce a video?
This is entirely dependant on the type of video that is being produced. For live events, conference videos and other simple productions, you can expect a relatively quick turnaround. Documentaries, explainer videos and videos that require more complex animations may require more time during post-production. Time spent sourcing third-party content and managing licenses also needs to be taken into account and can add more time to the production process. All of this will be discussed with you at the start of the project when key milestones will be agreed together and I will work closely with you throughout the entire process to ensure that your video is delivered to you exactly when you need it.
how much does it cost?
This depends on the total amount of filming and editing days, how complex the video is, whether or not 2D or 3D animations are required and many other factors that will be discussed with you during the project proposal when generating a bespoke quotation.
Get in touch and let me know a bit more about your project and I can guide you through various options before providing you with a bespoke itemised quotation.

WILL MORE COSTS ARISE AFTER THE INITIAL QUOTE / PROPOSAL?
All projects begin with an estimated cost for the work that needs to be carried out and this will be presented to you as a bespoke, fully itemised quotation based on information that you have supplied with regards to the brief. The work will then be carried out as set out in the proposal for the costs agreed. If further requests are made, a new quote will be issued to settle the difference, and this must be agreed by both parties before work commences.

how many opportunities will i get to give feedback and request changes to my video?
As many as you want! As standard, you will receive one free round of revisions during the editing process but more can be added if needed and this can be discussed with you when finalising the initial proposal and quote.
Drafts will be shared with you via our online collaborative review platform. This allows you to give feedback by commenting directly onto the video timeline and does not require you to download large video files.

can you provide music?
Sure! I can help source appropriate music and sound effects from royalty-free music libraries and provide you with the relevant licenses for usage in your completed video production. If any included music requires a fee, this will be discussed with you and included on any quote and final invoice.
do I own the rights to my video?
Yes! Once the final invoice has been paid, all transferable ownership rights for all copies of the finished video production are passed to the named client listed on the invoice.
